Air Baltic has announced it will begin offering direct scheduled flights between Riga, Latvia and Oulu, Finland, from March 2026.

The new route will operate five times a week, and comes on the heels of the announcement of Oulu as European Capital of Culture 2026.

Flights will operate five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 29 March 2026 until the end of October 2026.

The new service will utilise a 148-seat Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
