Atlantic Aviation has announced the acquisition of a series of vertiports from Ferrovial.

Following the acquisition, all Ferrovial Vertiports will now operate under the name VertiPorts by Atlantic, effective immediately.

The acquisition advances Atlantic Aviation’s commitment to the creation of sustainable infrastructure to support advanced air mobility (AAM) operations

Atlantic has confirmed that leadership teams will remain in their roles, with all business relating to the research & development of new eVTOL operation locations set to continue as before.

Luke Bugeja, Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Airports, said:

We’re pleased to see Atlantic Aviation embrace Ferrovial Vertiports’ innovative work enabling advanced air mobility.

Vertiports will be an essential element in Atlantic Aviation’s development of sustainable solutions and state-of-the art aviation services.

The company has also stated it will apply proprietary methodology in the search for additional vertiport locations across the United States going forward.
