Revealed in the presence of Ahmed Naeemi, Gulf Air Group Chief Technology Officer, and Adonis Succar, Vice President, Business Development; the renewal will cover the maintenance and support of mission-critical airport systems powering BIA’s operations, from passenger processing to flight management.

BIA is responsible for flight operations, passenger check-in, security validation and baggage reconciliation, with SITA-powered systems supporting a large portion of the passenger journey including check-in and boarding. SITA systems also allow for real-time data sharing amongst airlines, ground handlers and airport operations teams.
