In a world first, Belgrade Airport (BEG) has begun offering off grid solar charging for electric vehicles visiting the site, free of charge.

Installed at the airport’s Premium Parking P1 section, five Beam Global independent EV ARC™  solar stations are now in operation for those in need.

The airport is the first in the world to offer off grid solar charging

Combination of our commitment to environmental sustainability and partnership with companies such as BEAM Global confirm that it is possible to ensure provide additional comfort for passengers with a minimum impact on the living environment.

Charging vehicles using solar energy is an important step towards our goal – net zero CO₂ emission by 2050.

Each overhead station is capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously, and is available 24/7.
