CLEAR Brings Touchless Security Screening to Nashville International Airport
Yesterday (Aug 12 20), CLEAR announced that its trusted and secure identity technology and expedited lanes are now available at Nashville International Airport (BNA). CLEAR uses biometrics – your eyes and fingertips – to confirm it’s really you and replaces the need to use traditional identification documents prior to air travel.
This expansion will provide Nashville area travelers with a seamless experience at the North Security Checkpoint beginning on August 12th and allow them to have the same easy, touchless experience across CLEAR’s 35 airports nationwide.
BNA president and CEO., Doug Kreulen, said:As a world-class airport, innovative services like CLEAR help set us apart and serve to enhance our operations and bring convenience to our customers.
While air travel has been drastically impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, this partnership brings a touchless travel experience to BNA passengers by eliminating the need for members to hand travel documents to agents during the security screening.
Kreulen said:As air travel rebounds from the coronavirus pandemic, the safety and well-being of our passengers remains our top priority. Looking towards the future, this partnership – and the availability of touchless security screening – will help reassure all who fly from BNA that best practices are in place to maintain a welcoming airport environment and accommodate the needs of our community.
Digital Identity Technology Brings Peace of Mind to Air Travelers
Travelers can begin the enrollment process online and complete it with the help of a CLEAR Ambassador in just a few easy steps at a CLEAR pod in the airport. Once enrolled, members can use CLEAR at more than 55+ major airports and venues.
CLEAR’s EVP of Operations, Gina Bruzzichesi, said:We are excited to be joining the Nashville community and are committed to the long-term success of this partnership, which will inject hundreds of thousands of dollars into the local economy each year,
