Construction work is currently in full swing at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), with progress steadily underway on terminal expansions, roadway overhauls and airfield improvements.
Of all projects currently in progress, the International Parkway Project, which will transition access into Terminals A, B and C into right-hand exits from International Parkway, is scheduled to begin during the first week of August.

Thus far, 141 large beams have been installed across four structures to create over 3,300 feet of new bridge infrastructure to support the future roadway network into Terminals A, B & C.
Installation of the beams took place overnight across 12 shifts, and measure in at a combined length of 15,142 linear feet, more than 2.8 miles.
The next phase of the project’s development will see the implementation of a set of terminal roadway detours to enable the completion of the connection of Terminal B’s new bridge to its existing roadway infrastructure, with construction impact expected to last roughly 90 days and result in a number of detours, including rerouting efforts for drivers entering and exiting Terminal B and A, respectively.
During the 90 days, customers will be able to access Terminal B from the southbound entrance on International Parkway, with customers arriving from the south required to bypass all other northbound terminal entrances and utilise the U-turn to return to southbound International Parkway for the existing left-hand exit to Terminal B.
All customers exiting Terminal A and returning to International Parkway will be instructed to travel toward the North Exit, with customers looking to leave via the southbound route from the terminal area directed toward the left-hand U-turn before the North Exit Plaza to return southbound on International Parkway.
More information is set to be provided in the coming weeks, with customers urged to sign up for construction updates via email to be kept in the loop.
