Exel Frangible Approach Lighting Masts
Exel Approach Lighting support structures consist of poles for single lights and lattice masts for multiple lights. The lights can be installed from 25 cm at the lowest to 50 meters + at the highest. The standard colours for both poles and masts are aviation yellow and aviation orange, other colours are manufactured upon request.
Poles:
- Maximum light height: 1.6m – 5.5m, subject to wind conditions
- Height adjustment at site: +/- 10 inches
- Size of light adapter: Ø60 mm standard. Other sizes available.
- Cable way: runs inside
- Mounting systems: fixed base plate on concrete base / hinged base plate on concrete base
- Other installation methods: base plate with R2” 11BSP thread / transformer housing with R2”-11BSP thread
- Finish: aviation yellow with UV-protection. Other colours available upon request.
- Material: glass fibre composite material with sleeves of anodised aluminium
- Net weight of poles (with cable and light fitting): 5.3kg – 18.1 kg
Lattice Masts:
- Maximum light height: 6.5m – 35m, subject to number of lights and wind conditions
- Height adjustment at site: +/- 10 inches
- Size of light adapter: Ø60 mm standard. Other sizes available.
- Cable way: separate cable duct included
- Ground mounting systems: tiltable base plate on concrete base / steel post
- Multiple light arrangement: 1 to 5 apch lights + 1 flashing light. Cross beam length up to 6m. Offset arrangements available.
- Finish: aviation yellow with UV-protection. Other colours available upon request.
- Material: glass fibre composite material. Installation hardware of maritime stainless steel.
- Net weight of poles (with cable and light fitting): 56kg – 113kg
