World Aviation Festival 2026

The World Aviation Festival 2026 takes place on 13–15 October at the FIL convention centre in Lisbon, Portugal. Organised by Terrapinn, the event is billed as the world’s largest aviation technology conference and exhibition, drawing together airlines, airports and the technology companies that serve them.

Who Attends

More than 4,500 attendees are expected across the three days, including senior executives responsible for software, services, marketing and distribution at airlines and airports worldwide.

Exhibition

Around 400 exhibitors are expected on the show floor, spanning the full aviation technology supply chain — from established platform providers to early-stage startups showcasing in the dedicated Start-up Village. Confirmed exhibitors include Boeing, Panasonic Avionics, Thales Group, Viasat and IBS Software, alongside specialists in payments, retailing, loyalty, baggage, ground operations and airport technology.

Conference Programme

The conference features 600 speakers across 16 dedicated tracks over three days. Confirmed speakers include Luís Rodrigues, CEO of TAP Air Portugal; Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM; Willie Walsh, Director General of IATA; Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates; Luis Gallego, CEO of International Airlines Group; Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo; Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports; Vivian Cheung, CEO of Hong Kong International Airport; Deborah Flint, CEO of Toronto Pearson International Airport; and Heather Garboden, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at American Airlines.

The 16 tracks span the breadth of airline and airport operations and commercial strategy. Topics include Digital & IT, AI and Machine Learning, Customer Experience, Loyalty, Airline Retail, Sustainability, Payments, Marketing, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC), Ground Operations, Cyber Security, Airport Technology, Digital Operations, Talent, Innovation and Irregular Operations (IROPS).
