Following a comprehensive selection process, Frankfurt Airport (Fraport) has announced a partnership with both Avolta and Lagardère Travel Retail for the delivery of food and beverage outlets in its new terminal.
Of the twenty-eight dining spaces available, Avolta will handle twelve spaces in Terminal 3’s Non-Schengen Central Marketplace, Schengen Pier and Departures Hall, whilst Lagardère will handle ten spaces in the Non-Schengen Central Marketplace, Non-Schengen Pier and the terminal’s Arrivals Hall, with an extra six spaces reserved for travel requirements.
Anke Giesen, Executive Director for Retail and Real Estate at Fraport AG, stated:We are very pleased to welcome Avolta and Lagardère Travel Retail as our partners in the new dining areas of Terminal 3.
Both companies display an impressive innovative spirit and strict quality standards and will greatly enrich the food and beverage options at Frankfurt Airport.
Terminal 3’s dining space will cover 2,900 square metres, and will look to offer a range of food and beverage options, from local German cuisine to sushi and tapas.
Fraport has also awarded 65 retail spaces covering 12,000 square metres to a selection of concessionaires, including shops, restaurants, currency exchange sites and car rental services.
Terminal 3 is expected to be operational by Summer 2026, with the capacity to accommodate up to 19 million passengers.
