Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) has published a series of images teasing the appearance of its terminal building.

The images (seen below) showcase a seated waiting area, walkways and a baggage carousels, as well as a view onto the airport’s runway.

A tender for dining contracts at the airport is now currently underway
Light aircraft testing was on the new airport’s runway was first carried out in 2024
The new airport is planned to provide services for 10 million passengers

With a recent announcement that a number of major construction works have been finalised, the airport is currently still on track for a grand-opening in late 2026.

The airport recently released its Preliminary Draft Master Plan, outlining its future development strategy for the next 20 years.
