ITW GSE has announced the signing of a long-term frame work agreement with Royal Schiphol Group for the supply of a set of fully electric Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units, as well as an automatic hose management system.

The agreement between the two parties was signed by board members and representatives from the Royal Schiphol Group, as well as Poul Elvstrøm, VP/GM at ITW GSE, and José Manuel de las Heras, Senior Sales & Business Development Manager at ITW GSE at the Schiphol Group’s main offices.

The signing was also attended by David Feuga (Global Sales Director), Lars Vestergaard (Sales Director Europe), and Amit Gajadien (ITW GSE’s Dutch distributor) from Aviation GSE.

Under the new agreement, ITW GSE will supply its ITW GSE 3500 PCA fully electric pre-conditioned air units, as well as the 3500 Air Coil, its automatic hose management system.

The ITW GSE 3500 PCA comes equipped with Automated Aircraft Type Detection, and can be fully integrated with EcoGate, whilst the 3500 Air Coil is equipped with AirTight and KinkFree SuperHoses.

Combined, the modular technology ensures both the optimal heating & cooling of aircraft cabins, and can be configured for fixed ground installation, trailer-mounted mobile solutions, or Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) mounting.

ITW GSE is set to serve as the General Contractor for the supply of PCA equipment and accessories, with installed and on-site integration carried out by a contractor nominated by the Schiphol Group, while start-up and commissioning will be supported locally in collaboration with ITW GSE’s Dutch distributor, Aviation GSE.

José Manuel de las Heras, Senior Sales & Business Development Manager at ITW GSE, said:

This agreement goes beyond supplying equipment; it’s about empowering a vision. Schiphol’s commitment to sustainability is clear, and we’re proud that ITW GSE is part of that journey.

Our PCA and Air Coil solutions are designed to future-proof airport operations while dramatically reducing environmental impact.

The framework contract is set to continue for a maximum of 25 years, and has been valued at up to 40 million EUR.
