KLM has officially introduced its first new electric Goldhofer aircraft tow tractors at Schiphol Airport.
Implementation of the new vehicles into service marks another step toward the airline’s overall goal of achieving zero-emission operations by 2030.

Leased via TCR; the Goldhofer Phoenix AST2E will replace Schiphol’s existing fleet of diesel models, aiming to provide more versatility than the current vehicles in service.
The new tractors are capable of both pushing back and towing small aircraft and large planes up to the size of a Boeing 777.
