Leidos has been awarded a contract for the maintenance of 12,000 Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) units at over 430 airports across the United States and its associated territories.

The follow-on checkpoint sustainment contract, which is valued at a maximum of roughly 2.6 billion USD, will see Leidos work with original equipment manufacturers to maintain consistent TSE operational availability.

As part of the contract; Leidos will also provide crucial operational metrics via the performance of preventive, corrective & depot maintenance, programme management, contractor logistics, support and supply chain risk analysis, TSA service response centre oversight and both TSA IT infrastructure development and maintenance.
