New EAT Visual Screen Taking Shape at DFW

BDI was selected by Austin Bridge and Road to design and supply an End Around Taxiway Visual Screen required for the Northeast End Around Taxiway Package at DFW in July of 2019. After more than a year of planning inning, the structure is starting to take shape! BDI’s EAT Visual Screen had a nominal height of 20 ft. and a total length of 713 lineal feet (217.3m).

The Screen has been designed to resist the environmental effects of temperature, wind driven rain, and sunlight. The installation is scheduled to be complete in late September of 2020. BDI’s next EAT Visual Screen project will be at the Changi International Airport in Singapore, which is scheduled to be installed in late 2021.
