Cognitec’s core technology FaceVACS Engine was upgraded to version 10.0 to feature the latest matching algorithm B16, a new face finder, and the next version of our highly accurate age estimation technology. The new matcher surpasses the accuracy of its predecessor, mainly for facial images with extreme pose angles up to profile view.
In addition, the new portrait assessment processor combines template creation and portrait characteristics computation in a single processing step, thus optimizing large-scale primary facial data creation tasks.
The REST API in the docker container (Engine Server) received a thorough revision and optimization.
