ÖBB has officially implemented an updated fleet of 12 newly-designed buses at Vienna Airport (VIE).

Operated by Österreichische Postbus AG; the vehicles serve to provide passengers with return journeys along a set of ten stops from Vienna city centre to Vienna Airport.

The vehicles have been specifically designed to operate in the airport space with spacious luggage racks and spacious interiors.

ÖBB Postbus board member Alfred Loidl said:

With its new, more eye-catching design, the Vienna Airport Bus fleet contributes to a relaxed journey from start to finish.

The buses and ticket machines are easier to find in the striking turquoise colour; quick orientation is especially important for tourists. Nobody wants to spend ages searching for the right bus.
