Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) has introduced a new pilot programme, ‘We Got You,’ aimed at addressing common travel disruptions such as lost luggage and last-minute gate changes.

The initiative equips airport staff and volunteers with technology designed to enhance real-time problem-solving and improve passenger experience.

The technology provided through the programme includes several capabilities:

  • A built-in language translation tool, allowing volunteers to assist passengers in multiple languages
  • A terminal map with real-time updates to help volunteers guide passengers efficiently
  • Interdepartmental contact lists with frequently called numbers for quicker resolutions
  • An overview of available services categorised by passenger type to enable tailored assistance
  • FlightAware integration for real-time flight tracking
  • Access to hotel, shuttle, and transportation information

‘We Got You’ is designed to ensure that passengers receive prompt assistance, whether they have lost an item, missed a connection, or need directions. The initiative aligns with Pittsburgh International Airport’s commitment to enhancing customer service through technology and streamlined operations.
