Qatar Airways has announced it will open its first dedicated lounge in the United States within New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)’s New Terminal One.
The operator will move its operations to the terminal in 2026, unveiling a 15,000-square-foot Qatar Airways lounge in the process.
Qatar Airways first launched operations in New York in 2008 at JFK’s Terminal 8, and now offers services spanning 11 destinations, serving over 3 million passengers annually across 18 weekly flights.
The new facility will provide premium food and beverage experiences, VIP check-in services, relaxation zones, prayer rooms, play areas and duty-free shopping for Qatar Airways Business Class passengers.

JFK’s New Terminal One building forms part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s 19 billion USD transformation of JFK Airport, which will include the installation of two new terminals, the modernisation and expansion of its two existing terminals, a new ground transportation centre and a new simplified roadway network.
