Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and hoppaGo have extended their partnership to expand the range of ground transport options available to airline customers.
Since September 2024, the two companies have collaborated to provide SAS passengers with access to pre-booked transfers and ride-hailing services through the airline’s booking channels. This arrangement has now been broadened to include direct rail ticketing.

The new feature enables SAS customers to purchase train tickets across more than 70 countries through the airline’s website. The system connects with over 2,000 rail operators worldwide, including Heathrow Express, Arlanda Express, and Renfe Viajeros, allowing passengers to arrange onward travel in advance rather than at the point of arrival.
Caroline Bergström, Head of Ancillary Products and Retail, SAS said:At SAS, our mission is to provide our passengers with the most convenient, integrated, and reliable travel solutions hoppaGo's innovative technology and comprehensive marketplace perfectly align with our vision to be the go-to choice for travellers. This deepened partnership allows us to offer a truly seamless door-to-door experience, reinforcing our commitment to customer-centric innovation and operational excellence.
The integration uses hoppaGo’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, which presents transport options to travellers at different points in the booking process, from initial flight purchase to post-booking communications. The aim is to provide a single platform where passengers can plan and pay for multiple stages of their journey.
Chris Harrington, Managing Director at hoppaGo said:Our partnership with SAS has always been about providing confidence, security, and assured quality. By embedding our vast rail, private transfer, and ride-hailing network into the SAS customer journey, we are not only providing unparalleled choice but also future-proofing their service offering, driving both customer satisfaction and sustainable revenue growth.
