Dyson hand dryers are designed to optimise space and improve hygiene in airport toilets. Our task lighting and air purifiers are aimed at enhancing comfort for visitors and employees.
Hand Dryers that Improve Hygiene in Airport Toilets
Dyson’s Airblade Wash+Dry hand dryer is an advanced solution that combines a tap and hand dryer in a single touch-free unit. In as little as 14 seconds, the unit uses high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtered air to dry hands.
The Airblade Wash+Dry has a complete multi-function design that allows airports to save space in toilets and improve hygiene. Users do not have to move to a separate area to dry their hands, which avoids floors becoming wet.
Cost-Effective and Eco Friendly Hand Dryers for Airports
In 2006, Dyson engineers developed an advanced hand dryer based on Airblade™ technology that was introduced in 2006. This was almost a century after paper towels were first used for hand drying in 1907. Electric hand dryers were later created in 1948 but both of these conventional hand drying methods can be expensive, unhygienic and harmful to the environment.
Airblade Wash+Dry hand dryers save up to 69% in costs. They also produce up to 74% less CO₂ than other hand dryers. Compared to paper towels, Dyson’s hand dryers cost up to 97% less to run and offer a 71% reduction in CO₂.
