Swissport has announced the retention of its EcoVadis Platinum medal for the second year in a row.
The Platinum rating is awarded following a full evaluation across a set of four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, with over 130,000 companies assessed within EcoVadis’ database.

Having achieved the distinction; Swissport has been designated as being amongst the top 1% of companies assessed globally across all industry sectors.
Warwick Brady, Swissport’s CEO, said:As the #1 global aviation services provider and the only one to achieve EcoVadis Platinum, Swissport has both the responsibility and the determination to set the standard.
This recognition reinforces the strength of our environmental actions, our investment in our people, and our commitment to ethical and safe operations.
The aviation industry needs actions, not statements, and Swissport is delivering those solutions every day with our strong team of professionals at the heart of everything we do.
The recognition takes into account Swissport’s sustainability momentum, as well as its governance framework spanning environmental stewardship, social responsibility and ethical business practices.
Holding a global ISO 14001 certification; the company’s emissions reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and look to provide a strong operational foundation for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement.
The company has also now transitioned 26% of its roughly 14,600-unit global motorised fleet to utilise electric power, targeting 55% by 2032.
