The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has launched its Digital Security Screener Licensing System for Security Screeners across airports in Dubai.
The system, which was devised with the Dubai Police General Command, comes within a framework of institutional integration between the two parties, and supports the aims of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

The launch ceremony for the system was attended by H.E. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; H.E. Major General Harib Al Shamsi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; H.E. Obaid Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Aviation Security and Accident Investigation Sector, H.E. Ahmad Belqaizi, Executive Director of the Aviation Safety and Environment Sector.
It is expected that the launch of the system will bring Dubai’s aviation safety and security in line with international standards.

The launch ceremony also included a series of showcases for a number of new security, technological systems and programmes aiming to serve the Dubai aviation sector.
