Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) has been named Best Small Airport in USA TODAY’s Reader’s Choice Awards.

The airport was selected from a list of 20 finalists, which was determined by a panel of experts who then passed the final decision onto the public.

Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority President & CEO Tory Richardson said:

The community’s incredible support continues to propel our commitment to providing a world-class airport experience, and we are thrilled to have won this award for the community.

GRR saw a record-breaking number of passengers in 2024, handling more than 4 million passengers during the year. Operated by the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority; the airport has more than 100 team members responsible for infrastructure and maintenance of all facilities.

  • Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT)
  • Pensacola International Airport (PNS)
  • Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)
