iProov has launched its new on-the-move biometrics solution for Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP).
Part of Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Airport Modernisation efforts to streamline traveller processing, EPP strives to reduce reliances on manual systems and increase security through the use of technology.

iProov’s biometrics solution was first installed at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in May 2025, and has since reduced wait times by 65%, with each passenger processed in under 3 seconds.
The solution has been engineered to meet regulatory requirements across airports in the US, and is fully compatible with existing CBP Traveller Verification Services (TVS) and Simplified Arrival programmes.
iProov’s system utilised low-footprint hardware and is stated to perform reliably under a variety of lighting, movement and passenger behaviour conditions.
Andrew Bud, founder and CEO of iProov, said:iProov’s on-the-move biometrics solution for EPP enables seamless, secure travel that creates a new streamlined journey, to the benefit of both travelers and CBP staff.
The successful results at MCO validate the high performance and value of our solution and lay the foundation for a new global standard in border crossing technology.
