Vanderlande’s airport offerings will now be further expanded with the inclusion of Siemens’ US operations, with the company stating that it intends to pursue the strategic objectives created by acquiring Siemens Logistics, which is extending its ability to support airport customers with a broader and more complementary suite of solutions.

The company has also stated that believes Siemens Logistics’ expertise in baggage and cargo handling will in turn enhance Vanderlande’s established capabilities, enabling the combined organisation to deliver more responsive local support, richer technical expertise and a faster pace of innovation.

Andrew Manship, President & CEO of Vanderlande, said:

This marks an important step for Vanderlande. We’re excited to welcome the Siemens Logistics team in the United States and together continue the journey we have already started in delivering smarter, future-ready automation solutions for our airport customers.
