Cardiff Airport (CWL) has deployed Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform to enhance its operational efficiency and revenue management.
Veovo’s Flight Management application and Airport Operations Database (AODB) will offer role-based information and alerts to make it easier for staff at CWL to prioritise activities during peak-demand periods.
Meanwhile, the Revenue Management application will increase the efficiency of its aeronautical billing by automating invoicing processes and improving revenue assurance.
This software will be integrated with airline and air traffic systems to provide real-time information across the airport, helping staff to respond more swiftly to the needs of passengers and airlines.
Resources for flights such as gate parking, check-in counters and luggage belts will also be allocated by the new platform to ensure they are used in the most efficient way.
Spencer Birns, CEO at Cardiff Airport, said:It is great to be in a position to modernise our technology and upgrade to a new system, which will enhance our customer experience.
With this contract, Cardiff Airport is joining airports such as Birmingham, Auckland and Perth that already utilise Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform.
James Williamson, CEO at Veovo said:Airports of all sizes are switching on to the power of joined-up thinking based on live data to improve real-time decision-making and collaboration. We are delighted to partner with Cardiff Airport to help them optimise their assets and resources and ultimately deliver a better experience for both airlines and passengers.
