India’s Hon’ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu has launched a new Integrated Digital Monitoring Platform, which was developed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The platform, which aims to strengthen real-time monitoring, transparency and data-driven decision making across the country’s aviation ecosystem, integrates two complementary digital modules – a BIM based Project Monitoring System (BPMS) for infrastructure development and the Online Airport Directory Dashboard (Digital Cockpit) for operational analytics.

By utilising a set of two modules, the platform aims to provide a unified digital ecosystem dedicated to the monitoring of both airport infrastructure and operational performance across the country.
Built on Building Information Modelling (BIM); the BPMS is supported by AI-enabled data analytics with a goal to provide a unified and real-time view of airport development and modernisation projects undertaken by the AAI.
The system combines project data from planning through execution into one digital interface, allowing for coordination among a number of stakeholders involved in large-scale infrastructure schemes and project and providing monitoring of both physical and financial progress through interactive dashboards, analytical charts, automated reporting tools, and alert mechanisms.
Elsewhere, the Operational Intelligence Dashboard will be incorporated through the Online Airport Directory module. The feature, which supports live flight tracking with integrated overlays for arrivals, departures and weather conditions, will aim to provide a real-time overview of airport operations across India via the use of an interactive national map.
The module looks to offer insights into daily Aircraft Movements (ACM), Passenger (PAX) traffic—both domestic and international—airport-wise performance indicators, and On-Time Performance (OTP), as well as analytics on airline and route performance, traffic trends, aircraft type distribution, seasonal demand and delay logs.
