Yutong has announced a recent delivery of 16 apron buses to Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s first private airline.

The delivery marks Yutong’s first foray into the country’s apron bus market, as well as a key milestone in its expansion across Middle Eastern aviation hubs.

In order to develop appropriate solutions for Kuwait’s extreme desert climate; Yutong deployed a specialised team to study the country’s airports’ operating conditions and customer needs. The buses conceived utilise a robust, closed-ring body structure, as well as anti-corrosion cathodic electrocoating to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

The vehicles are also equipped with electronically ontrolled air suspension for enhanced stability and ride comfort, alongside high-capacity independent air conditioning capabilities.

Kuwait is currently experiencing rising demand for enhanced airport services and operational capacity, in part due to the country’s Vision 2035 and largely due to rapidly increasing airport traffic as a whole.
