The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has officially welcomed Lance Lyttle as the new Chief Executive Officer, leading operations at both Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL).
Lyttle will oversee daily operations as well as long-term improvement plans at the airports. These include ongoing renovations at MCO Terminals A and B, a new rental car facility, and a high-tech parking system.

Tim Weisheyer, GOAA Board Chairman said:Lance Lyttle is a visionary leader with a strong history of driving major airport projects. In just his first week, he’s hit the ground running – bringing energy, insight, and a clear commitment to excellence. As Orlando continues to grow, the Board is confident Mr. Lyttle will further shape our airports into the gold standard for the industry.
At the same meeting, the GOAA Board approved the next phase of restroom upgrades at MCO’s Terminals A and B. Balfour Beatty Construction will handle the 71.9 million USD project, which includes remodelling existing restrooms and building new ones where possible.
Work will also cover family restrooms and service animal relief areas across all four airsides. Funding will come from federal grants, capital improvement funds, and airport revenue bonds.
The renovations are part of broader improvements planned for the terminals and are expected to be finished between 2027 and 2028.
Lance Lyttle, GOAA Chief Executive Officer said:I’m incredibly excited to join GOAA and be a part of the next chapter for Orlando International and Orlando Executive airports. What inspires me the most is the people – their passion, dedication, and drive to deliver excellence every day. My focus is on empowering our team, embracing innovation, and ensuring we provide world-class experiences for every person who passes through.
Orlando International Airport served over 57 million passengers in 2024. Meanwhile, Orlando Executive Airport provides general aviation access just a few miles from downtown.
