Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has announced the implementation of a new system in the 2,000 space Terminal Garage that will guide drivers to open spots.

The new technology is being installed with the intention of improving traffic flow within the Garage.

The new system aims to guide drivers towards available spaces

The camera-based guidance system utilises sensors to monitor parking spaces in real time, offering moment-to-moment data on garage occupancy, as well as visual indicators to direct drivers to available parking spaces on each level.

Drivers will be shown a basic set of red/green indicator lights throughout the garage guiding them to open spots.

The Portier VISION system, which has been implemented in collaboration with parking manager ACE Parking, will also offer drivers the chance to locate their vehicles upon their return.
