San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has announced the release of its first-ever Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report.

The report includes a comprehensive document including metrics and narrative summaries of SFO’s performance and initiatives on a wide variety of related categories.

Covering the fiscal year 23/24; the report also includes statements relating to the Airport’s path to net zero energy, carbon and waste, as well as inclusive outreach and recruitment, employee health, wellness and development, and financial management and controls.

SFO Airport Director Mike Nakornkhet said:

I am proud to present SFO’s first ESG Report.

SFO is committed to delivering an exceptional airport experience where people and planet come first. Publishing this first ESG Report demonstrates SFO’s commitment to transparency in how we’re delivering our mission in ways that truly make a difference.

The release aligns with a report framework previously established by Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), and can be found at the SFO website, here.
