Swissport Expands Its Lounge Business in the UK
Swissport continues to expand its airport lounge business with the acquisition of No1 Lounges in the UK, in a joint-venture structure with Airport Dimensions. With the addition of nine new lounges Swissport grows its global lounge network to 54 facilities.
The joint venture set-up between Swissport and Airport Dimensions, SwissportALD, has acquired No1 Lounges in the UK. The deal comprises nine lounges in London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Birmingham. SwissportALD will manage the new lounges under the existing No1 Lounges and Clubrooms brands. This follows the announcement that Swissport has also acquired the Australian business of No1 Lounges with lounges in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The No1 Lounges brand will retain its own strong and unique identity. SwissportALD will work closely with its partners to promote No1 Lounges to members and guests. Day passes will be available via the No1 Lounges website.
Swissport manages 54 lounges at more than 30 airports in 13 countries under its Aspire brand. Aspire lounges are open to travelers irrespective of their class of travel. The lounges offer a relaxing space and amenities that ensure each airport layover is a rewarding and relaxing experience.
