The new garage will consist of six stories and will ultimately provide 3,500 additional convenient parking spots adjacent to the airport terminal. From this new lot, a 24-hour shuttle service will transport passengers to and from the airport terminal building in approximately 15 minutes.

The Parking Garage Expansion Project is the first of several construction projects planned at TYS to help elevate the passenger experience and accommodate continued growth.

To complete this work, TYS has closed a portion of its Long-Term Parking lot from 5 February.
