Air New Zealand has put tickets on sale for new services connecting Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) and Auckland International Airport.
These flights will mark the first international services to operate from WSI when they begin on 26 October 2026.

The airline will operate three return services per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights will depart Auckland at 6.05am (NZT), arriving at WSI at 7.50am (AEST), with return departures from WSI at 9am (AEST), landing in Auckland at 2.15pm (NZT).
WSI CEO Simon Hickey said:We’re delighted to have Air New Zealand as a trusted partner, with the airline significantly advancing its flight schedule to take off from WSI in October – operating trans-Tasman services three times a week between WSI and Auckland.
This route will give Sydney siders greater connectivity to New Zealand’s largest city and main holiday destination, so they can enjoy more choice and flexibility, alongside WSI’s innovative and seamless customer experience in our state-of-the-art terminal.
Tickets for the new flights went on sale at 6am (AEST) on Thursday 2 April.
Western Sydney International Airport is set to open as a new 24-hour international gateway. The airport features a single terminal designed to handle both domestic and international flights, with facilities aimed at improving passenger flow and reducing wait times.
