AtkinsRéalis has been appointed by Manchester Airports Group (MAG) to provide consultancy and design services under a new framework aimed at supporting long-term infrastructure planning and development.
The agreement forms part of MAG’s Capital Investment Consultancy Services (CICS) framework, under which AtkinsRéalis will deliver a range of services across its airport portfolio, including Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport and London Stansted Airport.
AtkinsRéalis will provide programme management, cost management, health and safety support, business consultancy and operational readiness services. The company will also contribute to change management and offer specialist advisory services linked to airport operations.
In addition, AtkinsRéalis has been appointed as the preferred provider for built environment design services in MAG’s southern region, where it will deliver multidisciplinary design work.

The agreement also includes additional service areas such as architectural design, airport security engineering and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) building services.
The framework is expected to run for eight years and builds on previous work undertaken by AtkinsRéalis for MAG under earlier arrangements.
