Nashville International Airport (BNA) has opened its new International Arrivals Facility (IAF) and BNA Marketplace as part of its BNA Vision construction and renovation plan.

The International Arrivals Facility includes six new gates along with new passenger facilities to accommodate the airport’s growing numbers of international travellers.

The new gates have been specifically designed for international flights and offer ample apron space to accommodate larger planes.

In addition, a new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) zone has been implemented to streamline immigration and Customs. This facility can process up to 800 passengers per hour using the latest biometric technologies.

Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of BNA said:

BNA Vision was designed to take Nashville International Airport to the next level and meet the travel needs of Middle Tennessee not just today, tomorrow, or next year, but well into the future. Not only does the International Arrivals Facility greatly increase our ability to serve international flights and travellers, it also opens the door for future nonstop air service to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and other regions.

Meanwhile, with the opening of BNA Marketplace, passengers will be able to enjoy new dining, retail, and service amenities at the airport.

Together, these projects mark the completion of  BNA’s Terminal Lobby Renovation programme. This 400,000-square-foot undertaking also included the new Grand Lobby, which opened in January 2023.
