The Chicago Department of Aviation has announced that Clark – O’Neil T3 Partners (COT3) has been tasked with leading the Terminal 3 Improvement Project at O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
This project is a key component of the decade-long O’Hare 21 programme, which aims to transform the airport and deliver on its vision to be a modern international gateway.
The Terminal 3 Improvement Project will include the expansion of ORD Terminal 3. The scope of this work will involve demolition, new construction, renovation and reconfiguration of existing terminal space.
A new baggage claim area, baggage make-up area and baggage handling system will also be integrated into the terminal. In addition, the building will be re-roofed and new mechanical, electrical/low voltage, plumbing and fire protection systems will be installed.
Contracts for this work will be awarded by COT3: a joint venture formed of Clark Construction Group and W.E. O’Neil Construction.
