Liberty Defense has announced it will conduct a customer trial of its HEXWAVE™ system at Denver International Airport (DEN).

The AI-based weapon and threat detection solution specialist will be testing its walkthrough security detection portal for a week in the Great Hall of the South employee checkpoint at the airport.

Recent HEXWAVE demonstration at major international airport

HEXWAVE™ utilises millimetre wave, advanced 3D imaging and AI to detect concealed objects such as liquid, plastic, powder explosives, 3D printed guns and other prohibited items. This is done without the need to remove common items such as phones, keys, and belts from the individual’s possession, speeding up the screening process and delivering a contactless experience.

Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense, said:

Denver International Airport has always been on the forefront of deploying next generation technologies, especially for safety and security applications.

We look forward to working with Denver to enhance the screening requirements and demonstrate an effective and efficient security process utilising our HEXWAVE technology.
