BigBear.ai has successfully implemented its veriScan biometric verification system at Denver International Airport (DEN).

The technology is now operational at 14 international departure gates, streamlining the boarding process for over 46,600 international passengers and enhancing security and efficiency.

The veriScan system uses facial biometrics to verify passenger identity, allowing airlines at DEN to expedite boarding times while maintaining high security standards.

As passengers approach the boarding gate, veriScan captures their image and transmits it to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for real-time identity verification through the Traveler Verification Service.

This process, voluntary for US citizens, complies with the US CBP’s biometric entry-exit requirements.

Kevin McAleenan, President of BigBear.ai said:

We are thrilled to see positive results early on from the implementation of veriScan at Denver International Airport. I applaud DEN for their dedication to focus on security protocols using innovative technologies across 13 airlines.
