Donald J. Trump International Airport, formerly known as Palm Beach International Airport, has changed its IATA code from PBI to DJT following its renaming earlier this year.

The new three-letter IATA code took effect on 18 August 2026. The change applies to passenger-facing systems including airline bookings, baggage handling and flight information.

The airport was officially renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport on 9 July. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) subsequently updated its aviation charts and databases to reflect the new name and identifiers.

Alongside the IATA change, the airport’s ICAO identifier has changed from KPBI to KDJT. The new identifiers are therefore DJT for IATA purposes and KDJT for ICAO purposes.

The airport has advised passengers to use DJT when searching for flights, checking baggage information and viewing airline schedules.

The change follows legislation in Florida that renamed the airport, which had previously been known as Palm Beach International Airport. The name change took effect on 9 July, with the IATA and ICAO identifier changes implemented separately.

The airport has also changed its official website URL to flydjt.org.

Donald J. Trump International Airport continues to serve the West Palm Beach area and is operated by Palm Beach County’s Department of Airports.
