Berlin Airport Launches BER Runway to Reduce Security Wait Times

Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) has launched its new BER Runway service, which allows passengers to reserve a time slot to pass through security in Terminal 1.

The BER Runway service is expected to reduce potential wait times at the terminal’s security checkpoints. It is available to all passengers free of charge to help them reliably plan their airport experience.

Passengers at BER now have the option to conveniently access security control through BER Runway

A BER Runway reservation can be made on the airport’s website from 72 hours to one hour before departure, with slots available every 15 minutes.

The dedicated entrance to security for BER Runway users is shown in the terminal and can be used from 10 minutes before until 10 minutes after the selected time.

All Runway passengers can also use the general entrances to the security control even if they have a reservation.
