Pollite are one of the largest manufacturers of fibreglass masts in Europe with an international presence that spans across Europe, Asia, USA, The Middle East, and Australasia. Boasting over 50 years’ experience in the manufacture of fibreglass, and the design of frangible safety poles, we are committed to producing only the highest quality products for your airfield. Our custom-built manufacturing facility is based in the UK where we design and manufacture every single Pollite mast.

As part of a larger company, Pollite has the staff, resource, technical knowledge and manufacturing expertise to take on large scale international projects. Continuous research and development from our UK manufacturing plant ensures mast construction is always improving.

The last 15 years have seen Pollite pioneer the development of a series of frangible masts principally for airfield use. Fulfilling the specifications with simplicity and minimal maintenance requirement is of paramount importance. Since the launch of ICAO’s Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 6 Frangibility in 2006, Pollite have developed a strict inspection and testing policy.

Our fibreglass structures were one of the first to undergo full impact testing and we continue to play a leading role in the development of airfield safety worldwide. Quality is at the core of what we create and deliver, to bring you the cutting edge fibreglass products.

At Pollite we work with a large globally recognised testing house that specialises in airfield products to continually push the boundaries and comply with the latest ICAO and FAA requirements. We not only aim to meet safety standards and compliance, we strive to exceed them.

  • Windsock Masts – Internally or externally lit frangible glassfibre windsock masts that comply with FAA and ICAO requirements.
  • Airfield Windsocks – Pollite windsocks are manufactured to meet ICAO and FAA requirements for size, material and colour.
  • Approach Masts – We offer a range of frangible approach masts manufactured in the UK.
  • Frangible Fencing – The Pollite frangible fence is intended for use in or around the airfield where protective fencing is required to be frangible in accordance with ICAO Annex 14 Pt 6 Frangibility.
  • Frangible Structures – Pollite offer a range of frangible structures.
