Airport operations software company, Veovo has formed a global strategic partnership with OneAlpha, an airport slot management planning company, to allow operators to streamline the slot approval process and maximise the use of runway, apron and terminal capacity and resources.
Integrating OneAlpha’s platform with Veovo’s operational database and resource management system will remove communication barriers between airlines and airports to enable more accurate decision-making in dynamic environments.
This will save airports time when matching airline slot requests with airport capacity in order to get the most out of their assets.
OneAlpha’s cloud-based slot management tool automates the slot request-to-approval process by checking requests against runway, apron and terminal capacity.
Once a slot is confirmed, Veovo’s resource management tool will facilitate a seamless handover so planners can optimise resources in and outside the terminal, including stands, gates, counters and baggage belts.
Last minute schedule change requests will also be quickly evaluated and automatically integrated into the planning.

This partnership also supports long-term planning and regulatory reporting. OneAlpha’s tool allows operators to forecast the impact of infrastructure improvements and maintenance works on capacity to enhance operational and commercial decision-making.
In addition, with resource usage data from Veovo’s RMS, airports can simplify regulatory reporting and fine-tune future slot allocations to continually improve their operations.
