Siemens AG has announced an agreement to sell its airport logistics division, Siemens Logistics to Vanderlande, a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation.

The transaction is valued at 300 million EUR and is expected to close within the calendar year 2025, pending regulatory approvals.

This sale is part of Siemens’ strategy to streamline its portfolio and concentrate on its core areas of technology and innovation.

The announcement follows the sale of Siemens Logistics’ parcel and mail business to the Körber Group in 2022 to focus on airport operations.
