The event is taking place from 16-18 April at Messe Frankfurt. Siemens Mobility will be exhibiting in Hall 5.1, Booth D232.

Michael Schneider, CEO of Siemens Logistics said:

Our technologies combine the real and digital worlds, enabling our customers to implement seamless processes. With our products we support our customers to make their business more sustainable. We are very pleased to present the extended Siemens Logistics portfolio at the PTE and to bring new ideas to the airports sector.

Specific examples of technologies that will the exhibited at the show include:

Aviation Data Hub

Siemens’ Aviation Data Hub provides efficient data collection and management services for airport operations while enabling customers to develop their own AI applications.

Baggage 360

In addition, AI is also used in its baggage management software Baggage 360, which functions like a digital twin for baggage handling processes. In doing so, Baggage 360 enables airports, airlines and ground handlers to forecast baggage volumes and arrival times 24 hours in advance. This also allows airport operators to plan and deploy their fixed and mobile assets efficiently.

BagIQ

For the management of baggage handling systems, Siemens Logistics’ BagIQ software uses a new 3D module to locate and visualise baggage items in real-time.

SmartService

Siemens’ SmartService portfolio provides advanced maintenance solutions that no longer rely on time-consuming, calendar-based procedures. Instead, predictive maintenance saves resources, extends the service life and enhances sustainability.

VarioTip

Finally, Siemens’ VarioTip product provides an automated solution for unloading unit load devices. This solution has a high baggage throughput and significantly contributes to safety and ergonomics in ground handling.
